Born in Toronto in 1985, Yoshiki spent his childhood in Toronto and New York until moving to Japan at the age of 10. For post-secondary education, Yoshiki studied at the University of Sydney and later graduated from Waseda University.
Upon graduation, Yoshiki first began his work in the Investment Banking Division for Lehman Brothers. Later he worked at DCM Ventures, a major venture capital firm in Silicon Valley, where he was responsible for investments in the US, Japan and China. Yoshiki founded “Origami” in 2012.
Currently, Yoshiki is also a committee member of the Payments Japan Association, as well as the New Industrial Structure Committee of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
Born in 1977. Lived in Los Angeles for a decade since the age of 10. After returning to Japan, he Joined Yahoo! where he was in charge of numerous services including Chiebukuro. Joined Facebook as Japan’s country growth manager in 2010 and established Anchorstar in 2015, specialised in strategic market entry for foreign companies in Japan.
Born in Kamakura, Japan. After Tokyo, Max lived in Paris and was educated in the UK. Max initialy practiced as a senior M&A lawyer based in London and Tokyo. After graduating from INSEAD with an MBA, Max advised various leading brands and start ups.
During time at Keio University, Co-Founded Naked Technologies as the lead of R&D after being selected at IPA’s Software creation event. The company was later acquired by Mixi, one of Japan’s first social networking services, where he established the data analysis team and was in charge of development strategies.
Previously in charge of launching new businesses at Recruit, a leading Japanese company as a producer for social ticketing service “ATND” as well as numerous O2O payment businesses including POS service AirREGI, points service “Shoplier” and more.
Began work at AOL Japan. Joined Google Japan in 2004 as the 29th member of the Japan office. Managed Google Advertising Professionals (now known as Google Partners) during Google’s peak growth phase in Japan. Later took up position as executive for AppBank, an application review site as well as CEO of its subsidiary.
12 years experience at Yahoo! JAPAN since 2006 specialising in a wide range of businesses including securities, FX, investments, credit card and insurance, managing M&A and operations of subsidiaries such as PMI. Took up position as Corporate Officer at YJFX Inc, a fintech subsidiary of Yahoo! JAPAN in 2013, where she was in charge of numerous financial businesses.
Joined DirecTV Inc., a digital satellite broadcasting company in 1998. After spending a period of time at Space Communications Co., he joined Japan’s largest marketing platform, CCC Marketing Co.,Ltd., contributing to the establishment of T-card. In 2015, he took over as a director of CCC Marketing Co., Ltd.
Previously in charge of energy and environment, automobile industry, information policy, economic and industrial policy at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. As consul at the Consulate-General of Japan in San Francisco,he worked on strenghtening the economic relations between Japan and California through various fields including innovation, after which he was engaged in planning the growth strategy of Abenomics at the Cabinet Secretariat.
Upon finishing graduate school in agricultural life science at the University of Tokyo, Yuji’s career began at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a currency trader, after which he entered YCP group from its inception period where he was in charge of hands-on investments in numerous industries, strategic consultation, FA and establishment of overseas offices.
